A short story about us

I didn’t start using cannabis until my late 20s. Growing up in the South, D.A.R.E. was drilled into us from 1st to 5th grade, and those anti-weed commercials had me convinced my brain would be smashed like an egg or I’d melt into a couch and never return. After serving nine years in the Army, I was injured and relied heavily on pills, but I hated how they made me feel. Living in California, where cannabis had just become recreational, I decided to give it a try. After some trial and error—without the proper education—I finally found relief. That discovery led me into the cannabis industry, where my passion only grew. But running a multi-million-dollar store took too much time away from my family, and I knew something had to change. I needed balance. That’s how Mary Jane’s Answers was born—a way to help others explore the cannabis world without pressure, in a space that’s informative, welcoming, and real.
